The International Mermaid Museum is an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to teaching ocean ecology from seashore to sea floor immersed in mermaid mythology uniting world oceanic cultures.
One outcome of the museum's mission is to offer scholarships to two local students to pursue trade certification from Grays Harbor College.
The 2023 scholarships were awarded to John Kling of Montesano High School and Garrison Barnum of Ocosta High School.
